Pyburn Timeline- Maryland to VA to NC

So I have been giving it some thought. I know we share DNA with several of the Choate line and the Lewis Pyburn line. And I know that I don't think most of the Choate's have the Pyburn part right at all.

I believe Jacob Pyburn Jr married Nancy Choate. Nancy was probably a daughter of Richard Choate as Jacob bought items at his estate, but Richard was not the only one of that age in the area. There was Christopher and Sabert as well. Now, I know everyone has Nancy Pyburn marrying a Christopher Choate that is the son of her sister, but in my tree, and with the census, I believe she was a sister to Naomi Pyburn.

So here is a timeline. In red are all my ideas on who this is.

We start with William and Mary who had three sons, John, Richard and Edward. I don't really know that the Jacob I have is John's son or Richard's son, but once we go with Jacob Sr, I am pretty sure that's right.

For now, and with the ages, I am thinking my Jacob Pyburn is a son of John Pyburn Jr. with two brothers, John who was hung for stealing a horse in NC, and James who stole a slave with John Lawrence in Georgia. The same John Lawrence arrived in Tensaw and swore fealty on the same day as my Jacob. I am beginning to think maybe he was a maternal cousin. The Jacob who whose children married the Choates, and the Benjamin the father of Lewis are all DNA links to my family.

1750's John Pyburn Constable in Bedford
This is John Pyburn, Jr. son of John Pyburn

1757 Joshua Pyburn, lease in Loudon
No idea who he belongs to, Edward or Richard. We have a will from John so we know its not his son. Maybe the father of the later Richard Pyburn. Given his age, he was born no later than 1736, he could be a son of Edward or a grandson of Richard through his son Jacob.

1758 John Pyburn militia in Bedford
This is John Pyburn Jr, son of John Pyburn
1765 John Pyburn caught in NC accused of Murders and atrocities (hung)
Tentative John Pyburn III, son of John Jr.
1769 Jacob Pyburn land Bedford
* Tentative this is son of John Pyburn Sr. , but it could be Jacob the son of Richard. This Jacob is the father of Jacob Pyburn who married Nancy Choate and Sarah Pyburn who married Charles Eades.
1773 Thomas Pyburn in Bedford
This should be the son of Edward Pyburn
1775 Benjamin Pyburn land in Washington Co, TN
This is the son of John Pyburn Sr.
1777 Elias, Lewis, Benjamin Jr and Benjamin Sr Pyburn on list of expenses for Am rev War
I believe that Benjamin Jr, Lewis and Elias are all sons of Benjamin Sr., it is possible that at least one of them are a nephew from either brother John or Jacob.
1777 Payroll James Knox Co, 8th VA Reg Benj Pyburn deserted May 20 1776
Due to the age, I suspect this is Benjamin Jr.

This should be Benjamin Jr.

This should be John Jr, son of John, and Benjamin Jr, son of Benjamin

1782 Benjamin and Jacob Pyburn militia in NC (Harpers)
Benjamin should be Benjamin Jr., Jacob Pyburn here I believe is my Jacob Pyburn, a son of John Pyburn Jr, and not Jacob Pyburn, Jr., son of Jacob Pyburn Sr. The reason I think this is my Jacob Pyburn is that the brother of Frances Mullis is in same regiment.
1783 Court Record (Dropped Stitches in Tennessee History)
Lewis and Elias Pyburn hiding from law. Appeal for right to post bond and return home.
Case against Elias Pyburn was for horse stealing.
This should be Lewis and Elias, sons of Benjamin Pyburn Sr.
Prior to 1784, James Pyburn named as a person stole a slave with John Lawrence in what is now Bulloch, Georgia. (Spanish Archives)
I believe that James Pyburn is a brother to my Jacob Pyburn and both are sons of John Pyburn Jr. I also believe they had an older brother John Pyburn who was hung for stealing a horse. I think that John Lawrence may be a maternal cousin, as he signs an oath in Tensaw the same day as Jacob Pyburn.

April 1, 1799 Jacob Pyburn signs petition in TN (presumed Knox county) However this is also signed by Christopher and Austin Choate Jr who we know are in NC with a Jacob Pyburn. Edward Uborn is probably Edward Pyburn who also signed petition. Found a second petition dealing with Knox for this year signed by Jacob and Ned Pyburn
This is Jacob Pyburn III, son of Jacob Pyburn Jr. who married Mary Webb. Edward Pyburn (Ned) is I believe his nephew, and a son of an unknown named son of Jacob Pyburn Jr.
